Find Your Home
As Lubbock’s #1 home builder and neighborhood developer, we enjoy an exclusive blend of high-volume construction and loyal vendors, enabling us to acquire quality building materials and labor below market prices. This winning combination and our construction systems enable us to offer you more home for less money. Modifying floor plans would require additional time to engineer the desired changes, acquire needed building materials, etc. This increase in labor and material costs would deter Betenbough Homes from achieving our goal of providing affordable homes in a timely manner. It is for this reason, that Betenbough Homes is unable to accommodate changes to floor plan designs.
Please contact a New Home Specialist to discuss the possibility of building a Betenbough home on land currently not owned by Betenbough HomesTM . A great deal of time and money is invested in the development of raw land into homesites and it is through this residential land development that Betenbough Homes is able to deliver quality homes at unbelievable prices.
Betenbough’s number one priority is the needs of our homeowners. In order to determine how Betenbough can best service you or your family, please contact a New Home Sales Specialist.
At this time, Betenbough Homes does not build two-story homes or homes with basements. Betenbough specializes in building single-level, three and four bedroom brick homes, ranging in size from 1,300 square feet to more than 3,000 square feet.
Our Engineered Framing System, comprised of wall panels and engineered roof trusses built in a controlled environment, reduces waste and construction time, which in turn, decreases exposure to outdoor elements and lowers the likelihood of theft or vandalism. With the wall panels and engineered roof trusses strategically aligned every 24 inches, this system guarantees proper structural support, dramatically increasing your home’s durability and stability!

Buy Your Home
You are not required to utilize a Realtor when buying a Betenbough home. Betenbough Homes has a friendly and professional New Home Sales Team dedicated to guiding you through the home buying process. However, if you do choose to work with a Realtor, he/she must accompany you on your first visit to the Betenbough Model Homes.
Closing meetings are scheduled by a Betenbough Closing Team member approximately three weeks prior to your closing or completed construction date.
Please bring the following items to your closing:
- Picture I.D.
- Necessary closing funds, if any
This final cost figure is available shortly before closing day. Although a reasonably close estimate may be determined long before, the pro-rating of several items is affected by the actual closing day and therefore cannot be determined precisely until that date is known and the lender has made his/her calculations available to the title company. If you are expected to bring additional funds closing day, contact the Betenbough Homes Closing Team to determine the procedures you need to follow. Note: the title company is not allowed to accept cash in any amount or personal checks exceeding $1,500. A cashier's check, made payable to Stewart Title Co., is required for amounts totaling more than $1,500.
Closings take place at the Betenbough Main Office, 6305 82nd Street, Lubbock, Texas, 79424, and last approximately one hour.
If you choose a Betenbough Preferred LenderSM, Betenbough Homes has great confidence that your closing day can be met without difficulty. As specified in the Sales Agreement, Betenbough requires all home buyers to close on their brand-new home within seven (7) days of completion. If you choose a Non-Preferred Lender who is not as familiar with our practices and does not issue correct closing instructions or closing documents in a timely manner, causing your closing to be delayed more than seven (7) days, you will be required to pay the daily tax, interest and insurance accrued during the period of time in which your closing is delayed.
When your home is closed, you can paint, move in belongings or make changes to the home. Closing on your home is the process of approving and signing closing documents, legally transferring ownership of the home to your name! Until that time, Betenbough Homes legally owns the property and cannot allow the above situations to occur for liability reasons.

Betenbough Ministry Council meetings occur on select Friday evenings. Meetings begin at 5:30 p.m. with a meal and time of fellowship. Following the meal, presentations begin. There are usually six (6) ministries presenting and Betenbough has found that many times ministries are encouraged and revived by hearing the different testimonies of so many servants of God. Each presentation will have a 15-minute time limit. Dress is casual. Once presentations are concluded, all ministries are dismissed. The Ministry Council will then convene to prayerfully make decisions regarding the requests.
A projector, video player, DVD player and computer system are available to accommodate all forms of presentation. If you have a PowerPoint, please bring it on a CD, instead of your laptop. This ensures that the evening will flow smoothly without breaks for setting up equipment.
Betenbough cannot guarantee that your request will be funded or your travel expenses reimbursed when you are invited to a Ministry Council meeting. Please note, an invitation to attend the meeting does not ensure funding of the request. Therefore, please prayerfully consider this invitation.
