    Betenbough Homes Visit

    Contact our new home sales team to schedule an appointment with your new home specialist at Betenbough Homes New Home Center. They will help you choose the home of your dreams in one of our communities in Amarillo, Lubbock, Midland or Odessa, and connect you with one of our preferred lenders.

      New Home Selection & Agreement Signing

      Once you've discussed your new home options in one of our new home communities, you'll select a floor plan that suits the needs of you and your family, discuss next steps, and sign an agreement to lock in the price of your home.

        Loan Officer Introduction

        In an effort to save you money and ensure you receive world-class service, Betenbough Homes has established exclusive partnerships with a select group of West Texas mortgage lenders that we refer to as preferred loan officers. While we do not offer in-house new home financing, we are certain financing your new home will be made easy through the efforts of these top-notch representatives. Be sure to ask your new home specialist to connect you with a preferred loan officer!

          Option Selection

          We make designing your dream home easy! Our in-house design experts have hand-selected new home packages that suit a variety of design styles. On this day, you’ll select your interior and exterior new home options that pair well with your personal style. From modern to classic selections, we have beautiful options for you to choose from. On this day, you’ll also receive your investment estimate to help you plan for the purchase of your new home!

            Contract + Construction Finalization

            It’s almost time to break ground on your brand-new home! During your pre-construction meeting, your new home specialist will review all the details of your new home (including plans and costs) and go over the upcoming stages of your new home’s construction. Once your agreement is signed, we will lock in pricing and review your upcoming construction milestones.

              New Home Frame Tour

              At this meeting, your dedicated experience specialist will walk you through your new home’s frame and explain some of its features such as the Advanced Framing System and Engineered Roof Trusses. You will also receive your estimated closing date, allowing you plenty of time to plan ahead!

                Welcome Home Orientation

                Your home is complete! It's time to review your home's features and warranties with your experience specialist.  This meeting occurs within one week of closing and is mandatory for all Betenbough new home buyers. Your experience specialist will also discuss things you should do to maintain your home after you move in.

                  Closing Day

                  It's time to approve and sign all closing documents, legally transferring ownership of your new home to your name. Our in-house closing specialist will walk you through each document and make sure that all signatures are accounted for. Closing on your home will take around one hour. Once complete, you will receive the keys to your new home!

                    Your New Home Warranty

                    A member of our warranty team will be in contact with you after closing to proactively schedule your 30-day warranty orientation. You will also have an 11-month warranty check-up to ensure that everything in your home is working properly. As a new Betenbough Homeowner, you can rest easy knowing that your home is fully covered by your included two-year comprehensive new home warranty.
