Home Run Game Rules
- Eligibility: Anyone may play the Home Run Game, whether Betenbough homeowners, trade partners, or members of the community. However, no awards will be made to real estate agents/brokers or Betenbough employees.
- Verification: Before a ‘Batter Up’ award is given, a Betenbough sales team member or the sales director will verify that you are the procuring reason for the Referral’s interest in Betenbough Homes, and that he/she is indeed considering purchasing a home.
- Previous Contact: No Award will be given if it is learned that Referral had, in the three (3) months prior to the time of referral, spoken to a Betenbough salesperson or visited a Betenbough model home.
- Number of Awards: Only one ‘Batter Up’ award will be paid for each Referral; only one additional Single, Double and Triple award will be paid for each closed or successful referral.
- Timing of Payment: ‘Batter Up’ awards will be given within five (5) days after referral verification. All other Awards will be given within ten (10) days of closing a successful referral.
- Duplicate Referrals: Award will be given to the person whose referral was made first; if it cannot be determined who made the referral first, the Award will be split equally among all Players who submitted the referral.
- Nature of Awards: ‘Batter Up’ awards will be gift certificates redeemable for $25 in goods or services. Payments of ‘cash’ awards (Single, Double, Triple, etc.) will be in U.S. funds, in the form of a check from Betenbough Companies.
- Tax Liability: Awards associated with the Home Run Game are considered taxable by the Internal Revenue Service. Responsibility for reporting this income and paying any required tax will be the responsibility of the recipient. Betenbough Companies will not withhold taxes from the payment of the Awards nor accept any responsibility in connection with taxation.
