In 2024, Betenbough Homes and other Betenbough Companies’ businesses gave 124 community grants totaling $1,368,040 to organizations in West Texas.
Our company’s purpose is to reveal God and His kingdom through our work in the marketplace, and we place the same purpose on our community giving opportunities. We do not require every organization to have the same purpose and mission to qualify for our grants, however, this is the lens we look through as we process community grant requests with our teams.
We desire to partner with organizations that embody a relational style, while also embracing a sustainable method approach. Community grants should enhance the organization’s effort rather than sustain it (i.e. operating costs, salaries, rent, etc.). Organizations in which a community grant is given should also be able to share tangible fruit from their work. Please note that only 501(c)(3) organizations are eligible to receive a community grant from Betenbough Homes. Non-evangelical organizations are eligible to apply for up to $7,500 each calendar year. Evangelical organizations are eligible to apply for up to $20,000 each calendar year. Please submit your application at least eight weeks prior to your funding deadline.
Betenbough Homes seeks to partner with organizations that reflect our company mission and provide us the opportunity to engage with potential home buyers. If you are looking for financial support for an event, organization, or sports team in Amarillo, Lubbock, Midland, or Odessa, and are willing to promote the Betenbough Homes brand, we encourage you to apply for a marketing sponsorship. In your application, please provide information about your organization/event's demographics and the marketing benefits included with the sponsorship. If you are submitting a request for a traveling sports team, we ask that you provide a schedule or list of the cities in which they will play. Please note that marketing sponsorships are typically limited to requests of $2,500 and under. We ask that you submit your application at least five weeks prior to your funding deadline; more time may be needed when collateral and/or promotional items will be required.
