Allow us to walk you through each step of the home buying process so that you feel equipped and educated!

    Visit Betenbough Homes

    Contact our new home online sales team to schedule an appointment with your new home sales specialist at a Betenbough Homes New Home Center. They will help you choose the home of your dreams in one of our communities in Amarillo, Lubbock, Midland or Odessa, and help connect you with one of our preferred lenders.

      Choose Your New Home

      Once you've toured homes in one of our new home communities, you'll select a floor plan that suites the needs of you and your family and sign your agreement. Your new home sales specialist will go over your agreement and what you can expect in the coming weeks!

        Speak With a Preferred Loan Officer

        In an effort to save money and ensure world-class service for our home buyers, Betenbough Homes has established exclusive partnerships with a select group of West Texas mortgage lenders, known as Betenbough Homes preferred loan officers. Although, we do not offer in-house new home financing, we are certain financing your new home will be made easy through the efforts of these top-notch representatives. Be sure to ask your new home sales specialist to connect you with a preferred loan officer!

          Options Selection Meeting

          We make designing your dream home easy! Our in-house design experts have hand-selected new home options that suite a variety of design styles. On this day, you'll select interior and exterior new home options that pair well with your personal style, such as colors of brick, granite and tile for your home.

            Pre-Construction Meeting

            It's almost time to start building your brand-new home! During your pre-construction meeting, your new home sales specialist will review architectural drawings of your home and go over the upcoming stages of your new home's construction, and answer any questions you have about our construction process.

              New Home Frame Tour

              At this meeting, your personal experience specialist will walk you through your home's frame and explain some of your new home's features such as the Advanced Framing System and Engineered Roof Trusses.

                Closing Date Set

                As your home nears completion, your experience specialist will set your closing date. This will allow you plenty of time to plan ahead, making the move that much easier.

                  Welcome Home Celebration

                  You're home is complete! It's time to review your home's features and warranties with your experience specialist.  This meeting occurs within one week of closing and is mandatory for all Betenbough new home buyers. Your experience specialist will also discuss things you should do to maintain your home after you move in.

                    Closing Day

                    It's time to approve and sign all closing documents, legally transferring ownership of your new home to your name. Our in-house closing specialist will walk you through each document and make sure that all signatures are accounted for. Closing on your home will take around one hour. Once complete, you will receive the keys to your new home!

                      Your New Home Warranty

                      A member of our warranty team will be in contact with you after closing to proactively schedule your 30-day homeowner appointment. You will also have an 11-month warranty appointment to ensure that everything in your home is working properly. As a new Betenbough Homeowner, you can rest easy knowing that your home is fully covered by your included two-year comprehensive new home warranty.
