What Is a Quick Move-In Home?

A quick move-in home is a new Betenbough home that is already under construction. Because of this, we can provide you with an accurate completion date — 99% guaranteed! These homes still offer many of the same benefits as starting from scratch, including the ability to lock in your price on day one. And when you work with one of our preferred loan officers, you may even be able to lock in your interest rate early, protecting your budget from market changes.

Every quick move-in home also includes our comprehensive new home warranty, which covers the performance of all materials and installations for two full years, including both parts and labor. That means peace of mind comes standard with every Betenbough home.

10% Complete: Foundation & Framing Stage

Homes that are 10% complete are typically about four months from completion. At this point, we’ve broken ground and are focused on pouring the foundation—the exciting first step toward your dream home.

Each homesite and floor plan has been carefully selected to ensure it fits seamlessly into our community. You’ll get to experience a frame tour and watch your home take shape from the ground up!

Regardless of when you join the process, our sales team will introduce you to your dedicated Experience Specialist who will be your main point of contact for all construction-related questions.

50% Complete: Halfway to Home

When your home is 50% complete, you’re about two months away from move-in day! By this stage, your home has been framed and sheetrocked, with exterior brick and stonework either underway or complete. Crews will also pour flatwork, such as your driveway, sidewalk, porch, and patio.

This is when your home really starts to come alive — trim, interior doors, and hand-selected design finishes begin going in, and it’s easy to picture yourself there. You’ll likely want to visit often as progress moves quickly!

85% Complete: Almost Move-In Ready

You’re in the home stretch! Homes that are 85% complete are just weeks away from being finished. As closing approaches, you’ll work closely with your closing specialist and loan officer to finalize details.

The finishing touches like appliances, towel racks, landscaping, and paint touch-ups are added during this stage. Our in-house detail team ensures everything meets our 1,000+ point quality checklist before we label your home “complete.”

Finally, we’ll perform a deep clean and roll out the red carpet for your Welcome Home Celebration, because your new home deserves a grand reveal!
